Anthropic expanded Claude’s app integration capabilities in April 2026, adding connectors for a range of personal apps including Spotify, Uber, Audible, AllTrails, TripAdvisor, Instacart, and TurboTax. The new connectors are available immediately across all Claude subscription plans.
The expansion builds on Claude’s existing support for work-focused app connections, such as Microsoft apps, and shifts attention to everyday consumer services. Once connected, Claude can suggest relevant apps within conversations — for example, recommending AllTrails when a user asks about hiking routes.
Users can browse and add apps by selecting “connectors” under the “customize” tab in the Claude sidebar. Before Claude takes any action through a connected app — such as placing a purchase or making a reservation — it will ask the user to confirm.
Anthropic addressed data and privacy concerns in its announcement, stating: “Your data from [connected apps] isn’t used to train our models, and the app doesn’t see your other conversations with Claude. You can also disconnect it at any time.” The company also noted that “there are no paid placements or sponsored answers in conversations with Claude.” When more than one connected app is relevant to a query, Claude will display results from both, ranked by usefulness.
Spotify already offers a similar connector through OpenAI’s ChatGPT, making Claude’s personal app integrations part of a broader trend among AI assistants moving into everyday task management.
